Sinabi ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr na magiging epektibo ang nasabing batas kapag kanila ng naaprubahan.
Ilang mga opisyal ng gobyerno ang sumaksi sa nasabing pagsasapinal ng IRR gaya nina Senior Undersecretary Elaine Masukat, Undersecretary Rodolfo John Robert Palattao IV, mula sa Presidential Management Staff, Undersecretary Leonardo Roy Cervantes ng Office of the Executive Secretary (OES), Government Service Insurance System General Manager Jose Arnulfo Veloso at Office of the Presidential Adviser for Investment and Economic Affairs Raphael DC Consing Jr.
Nandoon din ang ilang mga representatives ng Bureau of Treasury, Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for General Administration at Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs.
Magugunitang pansamantalang itinigil ang implementasyo ng MIF noong Oktubre 12 para mabigyang daan ang pag-aarala ng IRR nito.
